The Observatory on Sustainability, Equality and Social Justice (OSES) promotes research, training and consultancy activities on the topics of environmental and social sustainability, with a particular focus on public policies and the decision-making processes underlying the definition and implementation of interventions aimed at responding to the economic, social and environmental challenges of sustainable development.

The multidisciplinary composition of the Observatory allows it to embrace multiple substantive and procedural aspects related to the design and implementation of sustainability policies, transversally to the different areas of intervention (energy transition, climate change, environmental protection, inclusion and social justice, green economy, sustainable consumption, right to food) and stakeholders (policy-makers, enterprises, institutions, non-profit organisations).
